  Steak was cooked as requested. Didn't enjoy being moved from table that had no reservation sign on it, long after we'd sat down, supposedly because it was reserved. I know it's common these days but still don't see the point paying restaurant prices without any table service and suffer the insult of having to leave credit card with staff while you eat. Restaurants don't do that. The salad bar was good, garlic cream sauce with steak was horrendous.

  Give it a go. Now visited 6 times and we do not go back anywhere if its not better than good.

  Lunch this time as we normally call in for dinner. Prices are good value with a buffet to fill your plate. Warm dinner rolls and good comfy chairs.

  Parking at door or very close. Cosy and warm without being too hot as it was 11 outside.

  Never lets us down. Food is excellent. Service spot on and friendly. New decor is very nice and lighting us good.

  Really nice pub, nicely refurbished. I was underwhelmed at the 3 individual pieces of rocket that accompanied the lovely camembert and leek tart.

  Bit pricey for the size of the meal...very nice dining area
