    Winner of an architectural design award and one of the most beautiful Libraries in Australia, the staff live up to their excellent surroundings. For a poor area, the library shows great insight by NOT CHARGING FINES for late books. It caters to every group in the community. Large variety of dvds and is ably supported by the friends of Murray Bridge Public Library. Within the Library is an excellent toy Library, and every second Friday they sell excess book, dvds etc for a minimal price. All profits back into the Library. Apart from the standard kids toy Library they have board games for hire or able to be played in the Library. There is a snack area complete with a drink and snack machine with cheap eats. They allow shopping trolleys ( from the mall upstairs) in the Library, and have many interest groups meeting in the library at different times. My grand-kids like the interactive wall-mounted huge flat screen tvs loaded with PlayStation etc.

    It is such a joy to walk into this library. The staff are always on hand with a smile whenever I am having problems navigating the computer or looking for a certain book. Thank you so much !!
